After training hundreds of therapists in holistic facial therapy, I saw a need for something deeper. Many facialists can follow a routine — but fewer know how to read the skin, work with energy, and truly support the client from the inside out.
That’s why I created The Light Technique Method, a refined, intuitive approach to facial therapy that blends eastern facial mapping, emotional energetics, and sculpting massage.
This is an advanced, accredited training rooted in presence, connection, and decades of hands-on experience.

Designed for experienced practitioners, this course explores advanced facial techniques and the deeper meaning behind skin imbalance. You’ll learn how to analyse, map and support the skin using a variety of healing tools, from lifting massage to lymphatic drainage to energy reading.
The Light Technique Method is fully accredited with ThinkTree Hub and offers 15 CPD points.
You’ll experience all of the below and the course is fully accredited with ThinkTree Hub, and you’ll leave with a certificate and 15 CPD points.

This course is designed for facialists and holistic therapists with prior facial training or experience. You should have:
Completed Katie’s Diploma in Organic Facial Therapy, or
At least 2 years’ experience in delivering facial treatments.

How much of the course is in-person vs. online?
The Advanced course includes two in-person days in Brighton, a half-day Zoom session, and online pre-learning (sent to you ahead of time).
Where does the training take place?
At Jing Advanced Massage Training, based in Brighton’s North Laine area – just a short walk from the station and full of great food and coffee spots.
What will I need to bring?
Just yourself, some comfy clothes, a notebook, and an open mind. All products and equipment are provided.
What if I’m not sure if I meet the experience level?
Pop me a message and we’ll chat. If you’ve trained in facials before or already offer them regularly, you’ll likely be suitable.
